KOA's Rental Cabins in the Adirondack Mountains
Lake Placid/Whiteface Mountain KOA provides campground lodging for those who don't have, or aren't traveling with, an RV, but still want to enjoy an Adirondacks camping getaway on the Ausable River, near Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain. Choose from KOA Kamping accommodations, including a Kottage & Kabins, or our other Log Cabins, Chalet and Bungalow lodging.

KOA Kamping Accommodations
Lake Placid/Whiteface Mountain KOA offers two types of KOA Kamping Accommodations:
Deluxe Kottage A snug log structure that offers a kitchenette, dining area, bathroom, shower, and sleeping quarters for 4-5 people (bring your own bed linens or sleeping bags). This cozy Kottage is also equipped with fireplace/heater, electric lights and lockable doors.

Kamping Kottages NEW - 4 comfortable standard Kottages offer the convenience of a bathroom and sleeping for up to 4 people (bring your own bed linens or sleeping bags). The Kamping Kottages also feature a large deck. One Kottage (SK3) is ADA approved.

Kamping Kabins
 |
Cozy log structures equipped with electric light and heat, lockable doors and wood frame beds, complete with mattresses (bring your own bed linens or sleeping bags). Kamping Kabins sleep up to four in one-room units or six in two-room units. |

Adirondack Log Cabins
Rustic, quaint cabins that will sleep up to 8 persons. Separate bedroom with double bed. Bunk beds and futon sleeper in the main room. Linens not provided. You must bring your own sleeping bags or bed linens. Kitchenettes complete with cookware, utensils and appliances. Private bathroom with toilet and shower. Fire rings and picnic table outside.

Adirondack Chalet
Sleeps 8 with 1 bedroom, 1 futon sleeper and a sleeping loft. There is 1 queen bed, 3 doubles and 1 single. Linens are provided. The Chalet is a cozy, private building with shaded patio and picnic table. There is a living room with TV and a kitchenette, complete with cookware, utensils and appliances. The private bathroom has a toilet & shower.

Adirondack Bungalow
This spacious Bungalow sleeps up to 8 people with two bedrooms and a sleeping loft. Linens are provided. There is 1 queen, a bunkbed (double on bottom and single on top) and 3 singles in the loft. The Bungalow is heated. There is a bathroom with shower, a large living area with TV, dining area, a kitchen, complete with cookware, utensils and appliances. A deck with picnic table and fire ring provides for comfortable outdoor dining.

Camping Lean-Tos
2 lean-Tos, LT1 and LT2, by the river, which requires a hike in from parking area BH6. Three-sided, roofed wooden structure with a floor and located on a tent site with no hook-ups. Great for a gathering spot. Watch the stars from your sleeping bag...
